Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our team in Mid Essex City Chelmsford to work bank hours. You will work alongside a Clinical Nurse Manager and Senior Nurse as well as other healthcare professionals to provide an integrated and co-ordinated service that delivers care and support to people with terminal illnesses, whilst also offering vital emotional support for their families.

Salary:Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC BAND 5£28,407 - £34,581per annum pro rata plus enhancements.

Hours/Contract Type:Full Time and Part Time

Based:Covering,Braintree Burnham on Crouch Castle Hedingham Chelmsford Halstead Hatfield Peverel Kelvedon Maldon South Woodham Ferrers Witham

  • RN Registration Level 1
  • Experience in NHS or another relevant care setting in palliative care
  • Ability to work in a complex and stressful environment and demonstrate appropriate coping mechanisms
  • Be a licensed driver with access to a car and a willingness to travel is essential
