Job Title:Registered NurseSalary:Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned withAFC Band 5 £28,407- £34,581 pro rata per annum.Hours/Contract:Full Time 37.5 hours per weekBased:Marie Curie Hospice, West MidlandsClosing date:28th November 2023Interview date:TBC
You will work with the team, using a patient-centred approach and evidenced based practice, assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and co-ordinate care from admission to discharge. You will be expected to administer medication and treatment as prescribed in accordance with the NMCs and the Charitys policies and guidelines. You will also provide emotional, psychological and spiritual support for patients and carers.
We are looking for dynamic and motivated nurses to join our inpatient unit in Marie Curie Hospice, West Midlands to contribute to the delivery of person-centred care.

30% x your basic salary per hour paid for Saturdays and night duty 60% x your basic salary per hour paid for Sundays and Bank Holidays

What we are looking for:
- Experience in NHS or other relevant care setting in palliative care
- Ability to work in a complex and stressful environment and demonstrate appropriate coping mechanisms.
- Ability to work flexibly as this role will include weekends and nights
- Excellent communication skills
- To be passionate about providing high quality end of life care
You will ideally have gained experience or have an interest in palliative care nursing. At the Hospice, we offer care to patients with a life-limiting illness who have a range of specialist palliative care needs within a friendly and supportive environment. You will work as part of our dedicated multidisciplinary team.
