Were looking for a Research Manager, in an exciting new role that will sit within our Information and Support team, with accountability to our Research team.

Job responsibilities

Title:Research Manager Information and Support

Salary:£34,500-£38,324 (depending on experience) plus £3,500 London Living Allowance if applicable

Hours/Contract:35 hours per week (part-time considered)

Contract Type:Permanent

Based:Home-based

Our Information and Support team has unique proximity to people affected by terminal illness. You will support both teams by helping to identify the challenges faced by those affected by terminal illness and facilitating the development of research questions to address strategic thematic priorities physical and mental health and wellbeing; financial security; relationships, carers and bereavement; and inequality and inequity in end-of-life experience.You will also facilitate the day-to-day delivery of information and support through smaller-scale literature reviews and collaborative user research.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of generating and using research evidence to inform practice
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills to work with people affected by death, dying and bereavement and with other teams within the organisation
  • Ability to prioritise your work, and work independently
  • A problem solver who can take proactive action to address any issues
  • Resilient and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
