Job summary

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join the Marie Curie (As and When, Bank)Team in the South East covering East and West Kent (25 miles from Home base)

Main duties of the job

With experience of End of Life care, you're ready and able to make a real difference. Ours is a one-to-one approach to care, so you're sure to enjoy plenty of meaningful contact with patients and their families - usually in their own homes. Working without close supervision, you'll have the opportunity to use your own initiative in line with the patient's established care plan.

Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, Aligned with AFC Band 2 (£11.45 per hours+ enhancements )

Hours/Contract:Permanent,Part time, As and When (nights)

Based: South East covering;East and West Kent (25 miles from Home base)

As a Healthcare Assistant you will deliver care and support to people with terminal illnesses whilst also offering vital emotional support for their families.

You'll be required to carry out a range of care duties including helping patients meet their hygiene needs, monitoring symptoms, assisting with medications and keeping detailed records and emotional support to the patient and their families.
