Job summary
Would you like to:
Provide a welcoming response to calls from prospective and existing volunteers both in person and by telephone?
Act as the initial point of contact, answering queries where able or directing enquiries to the relevant voluntary services team member or volunteer manager as appropriate?
Provide administrative support for the recruitment and engagement of Mountbatten volunteers?
Maintain accurate records and support volunteer activities and service provisions?
Support the training and development activities of volunteers under the direction of the Head of Volunteer Development in Hampshire?

Main duties of the job
This is a very busy forward-facing role, working with complex systems and with a large and varied workload.
We are therefore looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enthusiastic and excited to take on a new challenge.
The role supports the administration requirements of the Head of Volunteer Development and the Volunteer Coordinator in developing a values based Voluntary Services Administration service to support Mountbatten and its teams.
The post holder will provide administrative support for the recruitment and engagement of Mountbatten volunteers including the liaison with volunteers, employees and outside agencies as required.
