Jess is one of our Registered Nurses, here's what she has to say about her role >
"I have worked on the Inpatient Unit for almost 2 years now, and working at St Johns is very rewarding. We can provide holistic care to all of our patients. The whole team from the nursing team, medical team, domestic staff and office staff are brilliant - nothing is ever too much trouble.
Since working at St Johns, I have learnt so much about palliative and end of life care. I have also learnt more about the importance of communication; especially with family and their loved ones at an emotional time.
The nurse to patient ratio enables us to given excellent nursing care, not only to look after our patients to the best of our ability, but also their loved ones.
I have also been able to develop my skills, knowledge and grow as a nurse through courses and support from the team."
If you are looking to take on a role where every day you can see the difference you have made to peoples lives, come and join us.
