Main duties of the job

We are currently looking to appoint a Hospice at Home Managerto lead and support our friendly team of qualified Nurses, Clinical Specialists and Health Care Assistants.This isa brand new role and afantastic opportunity to really make a difference bytaking ownership to drive this service forward and deliver excellent patient care in their own homes,putting the patient at the heart of what we do.

This role would besuitable for a passionate andexperienced nurse looking to develop their career in a Hospice setting, one who isforward thinking who enjoys working collaboratively andcandemonstrate relevant post qualification learnings' withexperience of managing a team of nursing and support staff to role model our values

About us

Thames Hospice is an independent adult hospice with a beautiful 28 bed hospice at Bray Lake in Maidenhead with views of the lake and state of the art facilities. We have proudly served the community of East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire for more than 36 years, we work in partnership with our local healthcare colleagues to provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care services to people aged 16 and over in their own homes and within the Hospice.

Youll research and learn the best ways of delivering interventions and ensure people are scheduled with the right experience to deliver safe and effective care

Alongside other senior colleagues youll manage strategy, KPIs, budgets, clinical governance and performance of the team and charity with positivity and by going the extra mile
