Job summary

The successful candidate will be required to support and enhance the nursing care of residents. To provide a specialist clinical service to individuals and their families, as well as providing senior support to the nursing team and the multi-disciplinary team, as a whole.

Main duties of the job

The Registered Nurse is responsible for all clinical and nursing tasks required by the residents. This will include overseeing the work of the carers and ensuring that good standards of clinical care are maintained. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing the needs of the residents, planning their care, implementing the interventions and evaluating its effectiveness.

About us

As well as 24 hour nursing care, we provide physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech & language therapy, psychology and dietetics.

Staff at CFNC work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT). This involves bringing together professionals of different backgrounds to work as a team in devising and implementing care packages to meet the individual needs and requirements of each resident.

2. Attending to the clinical needs of all the residents, including medication, care of wounds, catheter and bowel care, nutrition and hydration, end of life care, and any other care that may be required by the residents at that time;
