Job summary
The post holder is a key member of the Management Team and will
provide leadership and senior operational support on behalf of the Therapy
Manager and Senior Management Team. In
collaboration with other members of the management team, the post holder will
contribute to the operational implementation of strategic development of Castel
Froma Neuro Care and work to ensure objectives are achieved.
The
post holder will lead by example ensuring a high level of personal professional
standards and provide strong leadership across all therapy professions.
Main duties of the job
The Deputy Therapy manager will support the therapy manager with overseeing and monitoring of therapy services ensuring high levels of quality, in line with current evidence, legislation, policy and best practice.

Castel Froma Neuro Care run two care centre sites, Lillington House (56 beds) and Helen Ley House (38 beds) for those with neurological conditions and brain injury.
We provide 24 hour nursing care as well as therapies including physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, occupational therapy, speech & language, psychology and dietetics.
Staff at CFNC work as part of multi-disciplinary team (MDT). This involves bringing together professionals of different backgrounds to work as a team in devising and implementing care packages to meet the individual needs and requirements of each resident.

- Work
with the Therapy Manager to monitor performance and effectiveness.
- Help
to inform the planning and design of services within the therapy department and
organisation as a whole.
- Implementation

policies exist and are understood.

and SMT.
- Utilise high levels of adaptable communication within complex and demanding situations.
- Manage governance processes within therapy related services with
guidance from the Therapy Manager.
- Maintain own knowledge of neurological care, rehabilitation and professional
standards and take professional and legal accountability for own workload.
- To
manage a small clinical caseload of complex cases with own area of expertise,
ensure high quality of care and meeting legislative, policy and best practice
requirements.

both clinical and non-clinical meetings as appropriate.

a swift and appropriate response to referrals and pre- admission assessments.
- Taking
an active role in the development of other staff members/students to
