Harrow Health is seeking a motivated and process driven IT Technician to support the delivery of
high-quality digital infrastructure and IT support services across its network of practices and
partner sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-line technical support, managing
system configurations, assisting in the rollout of digital projects, and ensuring the effective setup
and maintenance of IT systems and equipment. This role is integral to maintaining continuity of
care through dependable digital services, especially in the dynamic environment of primary
healthcare.
Main duties of the job
Digital Health Integration
As an IT Technician at Harrow Health, you will support digital transformation within primary care, ensuring system interoperability, enabling virtual consultations, and integrating innovative digital tools. Your technical expertise will empower clinicians and staff to deliver efficient, data-driven healthcare services.
Remote and Site-Based WorkingThis hybrid role includes both remote support and on-site visits across Harrow Health locations. Youll provide hands-on technical support, assist with local system deployments, and attend project meetings. A flexible, proactive mindset is essential to adapt to the diverse technical needs across sites.
Stakeholder CollaborationYou will work closely with clinical and administrative teams, NHS Digital, system providers (such as EMIS and Accurx), and third-party IT vendors. Strong communication and a service-oriented approach are vital to build trust and ensure timely technical support. Youll also contribute to project teams, offering technical input to digital transformation initiatives.
Training and Development

Responsible for setting up and managing user access to EMIS Web and Electronic Prescription Services (EPS), ensuring clinicians and administrative staff have the appropriate roles, permissions, and configurations tailored to their duties.

System One Interoperability Management:
Support interoperability between EMIS Web and System One, ensuring accurate and secure exchange of patient data and facilitating cross-system communication across care providers.

Accurx Account Configuration:
Configure and manage user access for Accurx, including batch onboarding, security permissions, and group messaging settings to ensure effective communication between patients and clinical teams.

NHS Mail / Email Setup:
Set up and manage NHSmail accounts, distribution lists, and associated Outlook configurations, ensuring secure and compliant communication systems.
