Main Responsibilities
- Management of operations of all community services
- Managing the administrative staff with delegation to Team Leaders and/or Service Managers
- Lead the delivery of community services as and when required
- Ensure compliance with all operating policies to support overall organisational objectives
- Understand and embrace systems in place to monitor performance reporting systems with particular reference to key contractual obligations, making recommendations for improvements where you spot opportunities
- Ensure to comply with contractual obligations, Health and Safety, CQC and safeguarding standards by keeping them at the forefront of all operational activities
- To be able to understand contracts, service modelling and report on KPIs, activity data with the skill to identify errors and mistakes in advance
- Information sharing by taking part in weekly Operational meetings and/or any other external meetings with stakeholders as and when needed
- Work with the Head of Service, Senior Leadership Team and Community Team leads and other key individuals to continually grow and improve services within Harrow Health
- Provide monthly updates to the Head of Performance and Contracts for each service area, demonstrating delivery standards for all services, operating a philosophy of continuous improvement and best in class execution, actively seeing ways to enhance our reputation with stakeholders, patients and staff.
- To be accountable for the contractual commitments for your service areas and consistently deliver within allocated budgets.
- Communicate effectively and sensitively with patients, carers and service users, colleagues and staff, respecting everyones dignity and confidentiality.
- Focus on building integrated care within the community and perform gap analysis
- The post holder will work closely with the Team leads and Data Analyst to produce regular reports for Head of Contracts and Performance, Chief Executive, North West London Integrated Care Service and the Care Quality Commission
- The post holder will work closely with the Data analyst to monitor Key Performance Indicators & implement a good quality Clinical Service
- Deputise in absence of Head of Contracts and Performance and cross cover for Team leads as required.
- To work close with the Team Leads, HR, Governance, Clinical Team to support and plan for, monitor, and manage all potential risks and performance controls across their services and accountabilities and update Risk Register effectively and appropriately
- Ensure that all your allocated projects are effective, safe, responsive, high quality and well-led, identifying, and escalating risks and concerns promptly and effectively to the Head of Contracts and Performance when necessary
- Ensure activities and services comply with organisational requirements for safety, quality management, confidentiality and data protection, safeguarding, duty of candour, Prevent, general duty of care, regulatory requirements including CQC and other legal stipulations
- Show an awareness of operational and / or performance goals for each allocated project and ensure delivery
- Be accountable for all expenditure relating to your projects, delivering on-budget and demonstrating that value for money is delivered across the Operational Team and produce monthly reports for board meetings
Take an active role in the development and embedding of the organisations culture, values and reputation as a provider of high quality services, leading by example at all times
Evaluate and develop staff performance regularly by using agreed tools i.e. review meetings
Ensure to monitor patient turnover and captivation
Supporting in managing complaints and ensure services are meeting statutory compliant regulations
- Independent and pro-active individual with ability to implement adequate responses to situations without guidance; self-motivated and able to motivate and guides others
- Evaluate operational performance and implement appropriate development plans, ensure appropriate resource planning based on forecast workload, including appropriate use of flexible resources/applying resourcing strategy
- Ability to scrutinise analytical data and extrapolate key info to inform others and/or create a plan of action
- Ability to create, develop and documents procedures and flow process charts for ease of understanding key elements of all processes
- Represent Harrow Health effectively and professionally to a wide range of patients, stakeholders, members and partners
- The post holder will be expected to work flexibly for the organisation.

Appraisal
Harrow Health operates a system of individual performance review/appraisal for the purpose of agreeing performance objectives and discussing development needs in line with requirements of service need in the operational plan.
Clinical Governance
To have responsibility for a commitment to maintaining a high quality service to patients by continual development of Service in the light of research evidence and by audit, based against clinically relevant standards.
Code of Conduct for Professional Group
All members of staff are required to work in accordance with their professional groups code of conduct (e.g. NMC, GMC, HPC) and adhere to the Harrow health Code of Conduct for Senior Managers and Directors.
Conflict of Interests
You may not without the consent of Harrow Health engage in any outside employment. You must declare to your manager all private interests, which could potentially result in personal gain as a consequence of your employment position in harrow Health. Interests that might appear to be in conflict should also be declared.
DBS
It is a requirement of this position that a Criminal Records Bureau disclosure at the enhanced level is undertaken.
Confidentiality
The post holder is required not to disclose such information, particularly that relating to patients and staff. All employees are subject to the Data Protection Act 1998 and must not only maintain strict confidentiality in respect of patient and staff records, but the accuracy and integrity of the information contained within. The post holder must not at any time use personal data held by Harrow Health for any unauthorised purpose or disclosure such as data to a third party. You must not make any disclosure to any unauthorised person or use any confidential information relating to the business affairs of Harrow Health, unless expressly authorised to do so by Harrow Health. Further guidance on confidentiality is contained within Harrow Health Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Data Protection
The post holder must at all times respect the confidentiality of information in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act. This includes, if required to do so, obtain, process and/or use information held on a computer in a fair and lawful way, to hold data only for the specified registered purposes and to use or disclose data only to authorized persons or organisations as instructed.
