Bereavement Co-ordinator (Fixed term)

Job summary

As a Bereavement Co-ordinator you will work alongside Counselling, Support teams and Clinical Services in providing support and appropriate advice to bereaved relatives and their families 15 hours per week. You will be the first point of contact for those referred to the Bereavement team and will be required to relay accurate details, update records, co-ordinate concerns, queries and handle sensitive, confidential information.

Main duties of the job

You will need experience of providing care in a health or social setting along with an NVQ level 3 in care or equivalent. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skill and be able to demonstrate the ability to be compassionate and sensitive towards our service users and your colleagues. You should be able to use IT and be familiar with packages such as Word and Excel. Please refer to the full Job Description for further details and requirements for the role.
