Sue Ryder is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical
Services Manager to lead our Online Bereavement Counselling Service. This is a
unique opportunity to make a real difference, ensuring that bereaved
individuals receive high-quality, safe, and confidential support.
Purpose of the Role
As Clinical Services Manager, you will oversee the effective
delivery of our Online Bereavement Counselling Service as the lead clinician.
You will ensure that our service is high quality, safe, and confidential for
all users. Working within the stepped care model, including Level 3
interventions (NICE guidance 2004), you will oversee time-limited, one-to-one
therapeutic online counselling, incorporating clinical tools such as the Adult
Attitude to Grief Scale.
You will work closely with the Head of Bereavement and Grief
Services and the Clinical Director of Bereavement and Grief to drive
improvements in quality, productivity, and user experience.

About the Role
As Clinical Services Manager, you will:
Lead the
day-to-day operations of our Online Bereavement Counselling and Palliative Care
Counselling services.
Oversee
clinical governance, ensuring best practices in safeguarding and
confidentiality.
Manage
risk assessments, responding to client concerns and complaints.
Provide
leadership to our team of professional counsellors, ensuring excellence in
service delivery.
Support
marketing and communications efforts to raise awareness of our services.
Monitor
and improve service quality through clinical audits and compliance reporting.

- Qualification or significant experience in management, business coaching and mentoring
