Job summary
We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join Turning Point and be part of our highly successful and innovative NHS Talking Therapies (formerly known as IAPT) service.At Wakefield Talking Therapies we specialise in evidencebased psychological therapies and we are looking for someone to lead waiting list and clinical capacity management whilst identifying opportunities to better meet patient need.
The post holder will play a key role in ensuring NHS Talking Therapy targets are met, with a focus on ensuring therapist time is well planned and efficient, wait lists are proactively managed and we remain responsive to the needs of our community.The post holder will be a confident leader with the ability to analyse complex data from a variety of sources, identify trends and lead others to do the same.
We support people in the local area who are having difficulty in coping and who may be suffering from a common mental illness such as depression, anxiety or phobias.Our approach embeds the notion of wellbeing and recovery and promotes personal responsibility for lifestyle choices and selfmanagement of mental wellbeing.For our clients, this has resulted in a highly accessible and userfriendly service available across a wide geographical area.
This is a hybrid role a combination of service based and home working.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for ensuring that we offer the right mix of appointments and availability to meet patient need, that waits are proactively managed and clinical time is effectively utilised.Leadership skills are essential as you will lead delivery of key performance areas for the service and line manage therapists, supporting their development and working as part of a leadership team who work closely to deliver an ethical and innovative service.
You will actively contribute to improvement and innovation through your work and will champion best practice. You will ensure that robust processes and systems are in place to deliver an efficient service.You will collect and analyse performance data to identify trends and work alongside the leadership team to deliver action. You will line manage therapists.
