Were currently recruiting for a blood borne virus development manager to lead our organisational approach to prevention, testing and treatment of blood borne viruses across Turning Point services in England.

Main duties of the job

The blood borne virus development manager will be the organisational lead for the delivery and development of our blood borne virus strategies. This will include:

Delivery of training

Development and delivery of awareness campaigns

Data analysis and reporting ensuring that testing and treatment data is accurate and demonstrating progress towards blood borne virus testing and micro elimination targets.

Development of action plans to support services in achieving targets and overcoming barriers to testing and treatment.

Liaison with key partners and stakeholders including the Hepatitis C Trust, Operational Delivery Networks, Pharmaceutical industry representatives, commissioners and other treatment providers.

Essential

  • Understanding of the Health & Social Care sector including testing, treatment and prevention of BBVs including Hep C, Hep B and HIV
  • Experience of Client Information Management systems and reporting / IT / digital systems
  • Ability to support the improvement of pathways and performance
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written).
  • Ability to adapt to respond to staff, commissioners/partners/people we support

  • Previous experience managing operational Substance Use service/team
