Speech & Language Therapist Team Lead

Liverpool & surrounding area 37.5 hours/week | 41 weeks (term time) £48,022 FTE (pro-rated to term time) Permanent

Are you an experienced Speech & Language Therapist ready to step into leadership or deepen your impact as a clinical specialist? At Together Trust, youll lead high-quality therapy services within specialist SEN school settings, supporting children and young people with complex needs to thrive.

Youll be part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary Clinical Service working alongside Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners. This is a role where your clinical expertise, leadership skills, and passion for inclusive practice genuinely shape outcomes.

What youll be doing:

Lead and manage a specialist Speech & Language Therapy caseload. Deliver evidence-based assessment, intervention and therapy programmes. Provide training, guidance and consultation to school staff, families and carers. Supervise and develop junior colleagues within a supportive team culture. Lead a clinical specialism (e.g. AAC, Autism, SEMH, Dysfluency) and influence service development. Ensure best practice, safeguarding and professional standards across services.

What youll bring:

Degree in Speech & Language Therapy with HCPC registration. Membership of Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists. Significant post-qualification experience, ideally with Autism and complex needs. Experience supervising others and contributing to service development. Strong communication skills and confidence working autonomously and collaboratively. Knowledge of EHCP processes and outcome measurement.
