Specialist Occupational Therapist Liverpool & Surrounding Areas

Hours:22.5 per week, 41 weeks/year (term-time) | Contract: Permanent | Salary: £41,490 FTE (pro-rated £22,681)

Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist ready to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people? Together Trust is looking for a Specialist OT to deliver high-quality therapy support in mainstream schools across Liverpool and surrounding areas.

What Youll Do
  • Manage your own caseload, working autonomously while collaborating with teachers, school staff, and families.

  • Conduct holistic assessments and develop evidence-based therapy programs tailored to each child.

  • Provide specialist advice, training, and guidance to staff, parents, and carers.

  • Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and innovation in practice.

  • Supervise and mentor junior colleagues, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Who Were Looking For
  • Qualified Occupational Therapist, HCPC-registered and RCOT member.

  • Experience supporting children in mainstream schools, particularly those with complex needs or Autism Spectrum Conditions.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively.

  • Knowledge of assessment tools, outcome measures, and embedding therapy into learning environments.
