Location: Greater ManchesterHours: 22.5 hours/week, 41 weeks/yearContract: PermanentSalary: £41,490 FTE (pro-rated to £22,681 for term-time)
Are you a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist ready to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people? Together Trust is looking for a Specialist OT to join our dynamic Therapy Service, providing support primarily in mainstream schools across Greater Manchester.
As a Specialist OT, youll work autonomously while being part of a multi-disciplinary team of professionals, including Speech & Language Therapists, Psychologists, and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners. Youll provide direct therapy, advice, training, and support to students, staff, and families, ensuring interventions are evidence-based and impactful.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage your own caseload of students across schools, working closely with teachers, teams, and families.
Conduct holistic assessments using clinical expertise and observation.
Lead your professional growth, including appraisals, goal setting, and training opportunities.
Supervise and mentor junior colleagues, promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.
Monitor and manage risk while supporting colleagues to build awareness.
Contribute to service development and innovation in clinical practice.
Engage in specialist interest areas and professional networks to enhance practice.
What Were Looking For:
Degree in Occupational Therapy, HCPC-registered, and RCOT member
Experience working with young people, including those with complex needs or Autism Spectrum Conditions
Skilled in assessment, intervention, and delivering training
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider team
Passionate about embedding therapy into everyday learning
Experience of working in mainstream school settings.
