Job summary

An exciting development opportunity for someone wanting to develop a career

in digital and data solutions. Working with a new and growing Digital

Transformation Team for Primary Care Networks and General Practice.

The Data Assistant will work closely with the Digital Transformation and Project

Teams.

The role will involve data extraction from clinical systems and presentation of

data to the Digital and Projects Teams.

The successful candidate will be experienced in building and running reports,

as well as making data presentable and understandable.

The Data Assistant may also suggest improvements as to how data is

extracted and analysed.

Expected interview Date: week commencing 29th January 2024

Main duties of the job

a. Working with the Digital Transformation Team, to manage and organise

own workload, to assist in the maintenance and provision of statistics in

relation to the needs of the Organisation.

b. Understand, interrogate and extract data from a wide range of clinical

and activity systems including but not exclusively SystmOne, EMIS,

APEX Insight, Ardens etc.

c. Use data, and improve data quality, to understand demand, capacity, and activity in order to hit government set targets within IIF and QOF with particular reference to Population Health Management. d. Compile data for PCNs and PGPA reports to local, regional, and national governing and commissioning bodies as required either regularly or on an ad hoc basis. e. Adhere to confidentiality when supporting users on a live system containing patient information.
