Calder and Ryburn PCN is delivering the Covid vaccination programme on behalf of practices in their area.
We are looking for experienced administrators to support our Covid vaccination team across the Primary Care Network.
We're looking for proactive and caring professionals who are wanting to support the vaccination team. We are flexible to fit with your other commitments and are happy to discuss the hours available depending what you are looking for.
All successful applicants will be required to work at different sites and so it would be advantageous to be a driver with your own vehicle for work use but not essential.

Main duties of the job
The Covid Administrator will work as part of a
dynamic team in delivering a safe and effective service for the mass delivery of
the COVID-19 vaccinations. The post holder will be responsible for providing
administrative support within a team of staff working in a mass vaccination
site.
In particular, the post holder will be responsible for:
Accessing and maintaining accurate patient records, adhering to
confidentiality as per the sites policy
Providing admin support on the vaccination activity by supporting the
vaccinator with vaccination delivery and vaccination records
Recording vaccination consent and marking completion
Ensuring infection and waste control at the vaccination station

Ensure all paperwork has been provided pre-vaccination by the patient,
check identity & confirm vaccine details (type, date, time, dose)

Direct patient to the post vaccination waiting area
Record vaccination event and mark completion; if for any reason the
vaccination hasnt been completed, record that information along with the
reason
Provide non-clinical advice, information to patients and relatives when

Maintain accurate, clear and legible documentation in all legal records in
accordance with the Data Protection Act
Check that all equipment is safe and available for use and support with the
configuration of the vaccination station
