Job summary
East
Lancashire Alliance (ELA) is seeking an experienced and motivated Service
Delivery Officer to support the operational delivery and development of
services across the Alliance.
This is an
exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of services
across Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and member practices across East
Lancashire. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will support the
coordination, monitoring and improvement of services delivered by the Alliance.
The
successful candidate will help ensure services operate effectively, meet
contractual and performance requirements, and deliver high-quality care to
patients across the local system.
This role
would suit someone with strong organisational, analytical and communication
skills who is passionate about improving healthcare services and working
collaboratively across primary care.
Main duties of the job
The Service
Delivery Officer will support the operational delivery of Alliance services by:
- Supporting
the Operations Manager in the day-to-day operational management of ELA
services
- Working
with service leads and operational teams to ensure services are delivered
effectively
- Monitoring
service performance against KPIs and contractual requirements
- Supporting
the mobilisation and implementation of new services
- Coordinating
operational activity across multiple services within the Alliance
- Developing
strong relationships with PCNs, GP practices and partner organisations
- Supporting
service reviews, audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Contributing
to the preparation of reports, service documentation and operational
updates
- Supporting
governance and compliance processes across services
The role
will require the ability to work independently while collaborating with teams
across the organisation.

- Experience of project management
- Demonstrates sound judgement in the absence of clear guidelines or precedent, seeking advice as necessary
