Website, Communications and Marketing Coordinator

Job summary

This role will offer support to the Alliance, coordinating tasks across its Website, Communications and Marketing activities. The role also encompasses research and to provide support to other East Lancashire Alliance departments as and when required to the needs of the business.

The post holder will be an organised and highly motivated individual, expected to work under the direction of the Operational Support Officer / Operations Manager.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a proactive and creative Website, Communications and Marketing Coordinator to coordinate and enhance our digital presence, internal and external communications along with marketing initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for storytelling, digital strategy, and brand development, across the following functions.

About us

East Lancashire Alliance (ELA) is a not-for-profit community interest company providing services to our GP practice members and offering a portfolio of patient services. All our clinical services are led by clinical leads who work as part of a team with Federation managers.

We are a network of nine PCNs which consist of 48 GP practices covering a population of over 390,000 patients across East Lancashire. Patients are at the heart of everything we do, and we pride ourselves in ensuring our patients feel safe, supported, communicated with and respected, at a time when they may be feeling vulnerable. The Alliance are proud to represent our member practices and to champion our Primary Care Partners, by working with local general practice and other system partners in the provision of patient centred local healthcare services.

Each practice has a close-knit team of staff who collectively seek to improve the health of their patient populations.

Website Management

- Create content for, update and maintain the organisations website and its structure.

-Ensure the website is user-friendly, accessible, and developed for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

-Liaise with developers &/or IT support for technical updates and troubleshooting

Communications

-Create, develop and distribute internal and external communications including newsletters, press releases, and stakeholder updates.

-Support crisis communications and reputation management.

-Assist the organisation by monitoring and helping to respond to public and media inquiries.

Marketing

-Plan and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.

-Create engaging content for social media, email marketing, and print.

-Analyse campaign performance and report on KPIs.

-Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and materials.

-Coordinate design and production of promotional materials

Training & Development

- Fully participate in training and development, meeting any, and all, requirements of any courses funded, or part-funded by the Alliance.

-Engage in a programme of ongoing support and feedback to maximise the benefit of the training and development plan.
