Acute Respiratory (ARI) Hub Administrator
This job is now closed
Job summary
The purpose of this role is to provide a range of administrative duties within the Acute Respiratory Hub. A knowledge and understanding of the EMIS system is crucial in this role. You will be supporting the East Lancashire Alliance in delivering appointments across the East Lancashire region for a number of GP practices. This role is for either full time or part time over the course of the ARI campaign and will be based at one of the hubs across East Lancashire.
Main duties of the job
As the NHS faces significant winter pressures with flu, covid, and other respiratory viruses, ARI hubs aim to support local PCNs to manage demand over winter. After the success of running one hub last winter, the ELA has decided to provide more hubs, expanding within the localities of East Lancashire. All ARI hub appointments are face-to-face and booked through the patients own GP practice. There will always be at least one GP on site.
