Main duties of the job

The Chantry is a specialist neurological centre in Ipswich and became part of Brainkind in October 2023. The Chantry provides rehabilitation for people recently diagnosed with stroke or head injuries and also offers support for people diagnosed with long term neurological conditions such as Huntingtons disease, Parkinsons, and multiple sclerosis. As the Senior Specialist Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to treat and manage a variety of presentations in the rehabilitation unit as well as in the complex care unit.

MAIN PURPOSE:

To provide a physiotherapy service at senior level by assessing, implementing (by self or junior staff) and evaluating programmes of person-centred care as part of the multi-disciplinary team. To ensure continuity and consistency regarding service users physical management. To demonstrate a senior level of clinical, technical and research skills through breadth and depth of knowledge.
