To provide high-quality, innovative clinical assessments and ensure clear clinical decision-making. To involve patients and their families in all aspects of the assessment process, ensuring all requests are considered, promoting collaboration throughout the whole process.

To work with children and young people and their families who attend the wheelchair service.

To undertake a holistic assessment, considered the needs of the service user and their carers. This will involve planning, implementing and evaluating the outcome of the assessment.

To prescribe suitable equipment while ensuring function and independence is at the heart of the outcome, while ensuring the most cost effective outcome.

To work autonomously as well as along side the multi disciplinary team to ensure a positive outcome for the service user.

To be able to critically assess and re-evaluate the clinical situation as things change for the service user.

And we wont stop until they are mobile, enabled and included.

Our vision

A society in which every young wheelchair user is mobile, enabled and included.

Our values

We are young people focused, ambitious, collaborative and inclusive.
