Bank Worker – North Somerset and/or Somerset

Job summary

We are looking to expand our team of Bank Workers to support our mental health services in North Somerset and/or Somerset, in particular our Safe Haven Crisis Centre in Weston-Super-Mare. Bank Workers have the freedom to pick up ad hoc shifts in any of the below services when they are advertised. This role will particularly suit applicants who are looking for flexibility and are interested in working varying shift patterns to supplement their existing income.

Main duties of the job

Here are some examples of work that may be advertised to you: 5:45pm-midnight shifts on weekdays or weekends with our Safe Haven Crisis & Recovery Centre in Weston-super-Mare. This service provides short term crisis support appointments - empowering people by working in a recovery-orientated way. We believe in a person-centred approach and the power of promoting independence and hope. You can read more about the service here: Safe Haven Crisis & Recovery Centre 5:30pm-11pm shifts on weekdays or weekends with our Crisis Safe Space service in Frome, Glastonbury and/or Bridgwater. These services are designed for individuals in Somerset who need immediate and short-term crisis prevention and do not require more intensive care from either an emergency or inpatient service.
