Job summary

Our Housing Team provide the housing and property management service to Second Step tenants and are a vital part of our wider Accommodation Service. We aim to be service user centred and to give our tenants the most positive and supportive tenancy experience possible. Most of our properties are part of the Bristol Homelessness Pathways, and we work with a range of people with complex needs.

Main duties of the job

Job purpose is to provide a high quality housing management service to an agreed number of service users within the aims and objectives of the designated Second Step service.

Carry out role adhering to Second Steps policies, procedures and code of conduct, current legislation and with a Recovery orientated approach. Provide a housing and property management service to our Supported Housing and High Support accommodation services, liaising with the relevant support workers and support seniors as required. Ensure regular rent and service charge collection including housing benefit, in line with targets and maximization of organisational income. Understand and utilise relevant Psychological, Adversity and Trauma Informed practices in the delivery of client engagement, tenancy management, in training and in supervision.
