Job summary

We are looking for a part time cleaning operative to work in St Helena Hospice, as part of Total Clean.

Shifts are 7am to 3pm and 9am to 5pm, working days will differ week by week, including working every other weekend

Main duties of the job

Maintain cleanliness and tidiness across the hospice.

Cleaning clinical spaces, offices, toilets and communal areas.

Ability to work in a sensitive environment.

Key holder responsibilities.

Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required

Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Time management skills to prioritise effectively.

Sweep, mop and vacuum clean floors.

Wipe down and sanitise contact areas and surfaces.

Empty bins and replace bin bags.

Replenish supplies i.e. toilet roll, linen and paper towels.

Follow cleaning procedures and NHS safety guidelines.

Report any issues to the supervisor.

Adhere to company policies and regulations, including clocking in/out procedure.

Complete company training.
