We're excited to be recruiting Resilience Coaches for our NHS Nottingham Talking Therapies Service!

This is a 6-month pilot role, contracted at 37.5 hours per week.

This is a remote role.

This role is not eligible for sponsorship as is does not meet the requirements as set out by the UK Visa and Immigration Service

We are looking for compassionate and skilled Resilience Coaches to support young adults (18-25 years old) who are accessing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire NHS Talking Therapies. This role sits alongside clinical services and is focused on providing non-clinical, emotional and practical support during their therapy journey.

Main duties of the job

The Resilience Coach will help clients navigate lifes challenges, reduce social isolation, and stay engaged with their therapy by offering consistent, person-centred guidance. You will support clients with building resilience, accessing relevant services, developing coping strategies, and reconnecting with everyday life.

This is a role for someone who is passionate about mental health, early intervention, and helping young adults feel heard, supported, and less alone.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Work with clients referred through Talking Therapies, providing additional support alongside their therapeutic intervention.
  • Help them apply what they learn in therapy to everyday life and stay engaged with the process.
  • Deliver regular coaching-style support sessions (face-to-face or remote) focused on wellbeing, emotional resilience, and reducing isolation.
  • Offer a safe space for clients to talk and reflect outside of therapy.
  • Help clients access appropriate community and statutory services, including housing, benefits, addiction support, crisis help, and social groups.
