We're looking for an experienced clinical and operational leader to take the helm of our NHS Talking Therapies services atEveryturn. Youll bring compassionate leadership with a drive for service excellence alongside accreditation as a Step 3 therapist.
This is a pivotal national leadership role, where you'll shape the delivery of high-quality, accessible mental health support across the UK. With a portfolio worth approximately£25 million, you'll drive both clinical quality and financial sustainability, ensuring patients receive the care they need, when they need it most.
Main duties of the job
About the Role
AsHead of NHS Talking Therapies, you will:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple NHS Talking Therapies services.
- Act as the senior organisational lead, representing Everyturn at national forums and with key stakeholders.
- Lead and embed our values-compassion, accountability, respect, excellence, and innovation-into everything we do.
- Drive digital transformation and ensure services are clinically sound, financially sustainable, and digitally progressive.
- Maintain robust relationships with commissioners, ICBs, and contract managers.
- Ensure governance, quality assurance, and safeguarding standards are met across all service sites.
- Oversee a significant national budget, delivering value while maintaining excellence.
- Contribute to carbon reduction goals within healthcare delivery.

- A track record of leading clinical services at a national level.
- Experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector.
- Expertise in risk management, safeguarding, and NHS funding systems.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing complex budgets.
- Proven ability to influence, engage, and lead teams across multiple sites.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive business cases and reports.
- The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Experience in delivering carbon reduction strategies in healthcare.
- Familiarity with digital transformation in mental health services.
