As a Trainee High Intensity CBT Therapist at Everyturn, you will receive fully-funded training and clinical supervision as you work towards yourPostgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural TherapywithThe University of Nottingham-an institution renowned for its high-quality teaching and research. You'll study 1-2 days per week at the university, with the remaining days spent working within our service alongside experienced clinicians. Youll be fully supported in your learning journey, gaining hands-on experience delivering high-intensity interventions and conducting comprehensive psychological assessments for individuals with anxiety and depression.

Our experienced managers and supervisors will guide your development, and youll have access to a wide range of CPD opportunities. We have an excellent track record of supporting trainees through the course and into qualified roles.

Main duties of the job

Please Note:

  • This is a 12-month full-time training programme. Attendance at all University teaching days is mandatory.

  • Applicants must be able to commit to both the academic and clinical components of the course.

  • Upon successful completion of the course and meeting all criteria, you will progress into aQualified High Intensity CBT Therapistrole within our service.

  • During your in service days you will follow a hybrid working model, with at least one day each week spent on-site at one of our hubs-either the YMCA Community & Activity Village in Newark or Ransom Wood Business Park in Mansfield. This in-person time provides valuable opportunities to build experience working face to face with patients, connect with colleagues, build your support network, and collaborate within a dynamic team environment.
  • You will work Monday to Friday, with at least one 12pm-8pm shift per week to help us meet the needs of our patients through e accessible support during extended hours.
  • You will be recruited on a permanent contract and promoted to a Qualified Hight Intensity CBT Therapist position within our service on successful completion of the course and providing all other relevant criteria have been met.

  • Proven track record of working positively with people who have experienced a mental ill health in a mental health setting.
  • Highly resilient with the ability to meet the attendance and academic requirements of the course, whilst also working for our service.
  • Are able to organise a high-volume workload to ensure effective prioritisation and delivery of objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet service and client need.
