Senior Case Worker - North Tyneside

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced link worker or social prescriber to be promoted to Senior Case Worker in our Together in a Crisis service.Together in a Crisis provides a rapid response to people who, following contact with the NHS are assessed as not in need of an urgent statutory response, but who nevertheless are in emotional and psychological distress and may require an immediate response to their personally defined need.As Senior Case Worker, you will working closely with the Team Lead, using your expertise and strong interpersonal skills to help develop and deliver this service. You will be responsible for your own case load and provide support and supervision to other Case Workers in the team.

  • Experience of supporting the management and coaching of a team.
  • Experience of delivering services in a community-based setting and working independently.
  • Are able to work to deliver required performance targets.
  • Strong personal skills and evidence of developing positive working relationships with individuals, colleagues and partnership organisations.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good administrative skills with the ability to support the Team Lead with the management of the service.
