Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate individual with great leadership skills to join our talking therapies Senior Management Team.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career from a Senior Counsellor or Senior HIT CBT Therapist role and where will be managing a mix of Counselling and HIT CBT modalities.

In this role, you will be managing and supporting our Counsellors and Cognitive Behavioural Therapists as they use their expertise to make a real difference to individuals lives.

Working closely with the talking therapies Senior Management Team, you will assist in the delivery of a cost effective and efficient service. You will be responsible for ensuring that the service is developed and maintained effectively and play a vital role in both supporting and motivating your team to ensure they deliver high quality interventions that reflect local and national priorities and targets and meet the organisations requirements.

Main duties of the job

To succeed in this role, you must be an experienced clinician with a proven track record of delivering excellent results within talking therapies services, and be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to ensure your team are engaged whilst also delivering high quality therapy interventions in line with service targets.

About you

We would love to hear from you, if you possess the following:

  • Experienced in your field of expertise with either a high intensity therapy qualification (or equivalent), or BACP (or equivalent) Accreditation.
  • Ability to lead a team, providing support and motivation to ensure your team are engaged and deliver high quality therapy interventions that meet service targets
  • Have strong decision-making skills and are able to make and communicate decisions in a timely and justifiable manner
  • Have a good working knowledge of the NHS Talking Therapies programme and the challenges and opportunities it presents
  • Have experience of meeting service targets, monitoring quality and safety
  • Are able to work under pressure, with attention to detail
  • Are creative and resourceful, flexible and adaptable
