Job summary
Summary of Job Purpose:
This post has been developed specifically in response to the growing demand for iHV mental health training to be delivered across the UK. The post is primarily focused on supporting the iHV to deliver high-quality mental health training to multi-agency audiences as a lead trainer. The postholder will work alongside iHV team colleagues and consultant co-trainers to deliver this business objective. As a member of our professional team, they will join a group of highly skilled and passionate practitioners, supporting the wider work of the Institute as a Centre of Excellence for health visiting as needed.
Main duties of the job
Key areas of responsibility:
To deliver the range of iHV mental health training programmes virtually and in-person.
To contribute to the evaluation of iHV mental health training programmes.
To support the co-production, development, quality assurance and refinement of the iHV mental health training programmes and resources.
To work collaboratively with other members of the mental health and training teams to support the delivery of Forums, Action Learning Sets, Place-Based Leadership events and Bulletins for iHV PIMH Champions.
To occasionally represent the mental health team at relevant national mental health meetings.
To support projects and practice developments within the mental health team and the iHV wider team that require mental health expertise or peer review, as needed.
Additional responsibilities:
To attend and contribute to monthly iHV meetings, mental health team meetings and professional meetings as required.
To contribute to the development and delivery of iHV PIMH Conferences and support the iHV Evidence-based Practice and Leadership conferences and other membership events as required.
To work with colleagues to improve the quality of the work of the iHV, identifying and managing risks, and constructively challenging ways of working, influencing, and supporting other iHV team members where necessary.
To work within the expected iHV Values and Behaviours.
To participate in all mandatory training as required.
