Job summary
We are looking for a
People (Human Resources) Manager to join our growing award-winning charity to
oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes.
To us, our HR Manager
will be the go-to person for all employee and workforce-related issues and
managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations,
performance management, training & development and talent management,
responsible to our People Committee for creating and delivering our workforce
strategic plans.
Our HR Manager will be
part of our Senior Leadership Team and an important partner to business
success. People are our most important asset, and you will be key in supporting
the management team to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where

About us
First Steps ED is the Midlands evidence-based eating disorder charity with an impact further afield. The only All Ages specialist VCSE organisation in England supporting children and young people, adults and parents/carers with compassionate, person-centred individual and group therapy and psycho-education services face to face in our East and West Midlands and Home Counties therapy rooms and online for those who choose a hybrid approach.
This role is home based and will require occasional travel to our NHS ICB commissioned teams in the Midlands and Home Counties.
