The Role
We are seeking a Nursing Associate to join our friendly and supportive general practice team. This is a key role within primary care, working alongside registered nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT).
The principal purpose of the role is to support registered nurses, enabling them to focus on more complex clinical care, while the Nursing Associate delivers high-quality, evidence-based care to patients under appropriate supervision.
This post offers an excellent opportunity to work across practices within the PCN, contribute to integrated care, and develop professionally within a dynamic primary care environment.
Main duties of the job
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Nursing Associate with current NMC registration
- Experience working in primary care or a similar healthcare setting (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to high standards of patient care, safety and confidentiality
- Willingness to develop skills and competencies in line with service needs
