We are committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) and expect all staff to demonstrate a positive, inclusive attitude in their day-to-day work. Creating an environment where everyone feels valued and respected is essential to delivering effective services, fulfilling our moral responsibilities, and meeting our legal obligations.

The organisation places strong emphasis on Safety, Health, Environment and Fire (SHEF). Staff are required to take reasonable care of their own health and safety, as well as that of colleagues, patients and others. The post-holder will actively manage and assess risk within their area of responsibility, ensuring safe systems of work are in place and that practices comply with health, safety, security and fire legislation, policies and procedures.

Maintaining confidentiality is fundamental to our work. Patients entrust us with sensitive personal and health information, and all staff have a duty to respect privacy, protect patient data, and ensure information is handled securely and lawfully at all times.

All staff are expected to contribute to quality and continuous improvement, reflecting on not only what they do, but how they do it. By continually reviewing and improving processes, we can enhance service delivery and patient care.

We provide a comprehensive induction programme, with ongoing management support to help staff settle into their role effectively. In addition, a commitment to learning and development is essential. All staff must complete mandatory training and are encouraged to proactively identify and address their own learning needs to ensure they maintain the skills, knowledge and competencies required for their role.

Additional Information

Subject to service need and room availability, the Nursing Associate will also be required to support administrative and reception functions. This may include providing cover to assist with the smooth running of the practice, ensuring continuity of service for patients. These duties will be appropriate to the role, fully supported, and undertaken without detracting from clinical responsibilities, helping the practice to use space and workforce resources effectively while maintaining high standards of patient care and service delivery.

If you are passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate primary care and want to be part of a forward-thinking multidisciplinary team, we would love to hear from you.
