Area Manager - Housing

37.5 hours per week

Based in Morley, Leeds

£51,364.42 per annum

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join St Annes Community Services to provide leadership, vision and management of the delivery of a high performing, resident-focussed specialist supported housing service across our communities.

You will lead our supported housing team and work in close collaboration with our care and support teams to embed a housing pathway that helps our residents to gain confidence and life skills that enable them to move to a more independent housing setting.

You will develop strategic relationships with our partners and stakeholders that help to shape and grow our housing service. You will also work closely with our residents to ensure that their voice is amplified and that they play a key role in shaping our services.

You will have a sound knowledge of existing and emerging housing legislation and regulation, experience of delivering housing management services in a supported housing setting and an understanding of welfare benefits.

This is a new role to St Anne's and the successful postholder will have the opportunity to shape the position in a way that transforms the services we provide to our residents across Yorkshire and the North East.

Main duties of the job

Lead a Housing Team in delivering high quality services, ensuring the teams operational activity is aligned to St Anne's Housing Strategy and in line with Regulatory Standards and the emerging regulatory landscape.

Ensure that exemplary housing services are delivered and will strive for continuous improvement.

Liaise with colleagues across the business to improve client satisfaction within client homes and that services delivered are value for money.

Develop strong relationships and partnerships with Local Authority partners and other external stakeholders which support better outcomes for clients.

Lead on the development of new service offers and contracts.

Manage escalated issues and complaints to clients satisfaction.
