St Margaret's Hospice Care has an exciting opportunity for a Fundraising Volunteer Coordinator to join our Engagement Team.
- Salary: £25,507 £28,157.57 per annum pro rata
- Contract: 6-month Fixed Term
- Working pattern: Part Time
We can support part-time hours of 22.5 to 30 hours per week, which translates to 3 to 4 days a week.
We understand the importance of flexibility, so we're open to discussing various working hours and days that suit your schedule. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy hybrid working, with the option to work from home one day a week.
Most of your hours will fall between Monday and Friday, though there may be occasional evening or weekend commitments to support our community fundraising events.
You'll be part of a supportive, friendly team in a charity driven by compassion, community, and care.
Main duties of the job
As our Fundraising Volunteer Coordinator, you'll play a key part in developing, supporting and celebrating our incredible community of fundraising volunteers. You'll help people feel confident, informed, and inspired to raise awareness and funds for St Margaret's Hospice Care.
Your day to day role will include:
- Attracting, coordinating, and supporting fundraising volunteers across Somerset.
- Building strong relationships with volunteer groups, supporters and community partners.
- Working with our Community Partnerships and Events teams to help shape and deliver fundraising activities and campaigns.
- Being a friendly contact for volunteer fundraisers, offering guidance, encouragement and practical support.
- Keeping accurate records, communications, and volunteer information up to date.
- Representing St Margaret's Hospice in the community at events, presentations, and engagement activities.
- Helping celebrate volunteer contributions through appreciation events and regular communication.
Every interaction you have will help ensure volunteers feel valued and connected to the impact they're making.

- Attract,
engage and coordinate fundraising volunteers, ensuring they are appropriately
prepared for their role, supported, and equipped to deliver successful
activities.
- Develop
and implement volunteer stewardship plans to build strong, long term

- Act
as the first point of contact for all fundraising volunteers, providing
advice, resources, and encouragement to help them maximise their fundraising
impact.
- Maintaining
and monitoring accurate volunteer records and communications on the
volunteering hub, ensuring compliance with data protection and internal

alongside the Volunteering team to recognise and celebrate the contribution

Administration & Reporting-
Provide
high quality administrative support to the Events and Community Partnerships
Team, maintaining accurate records of volunteer and fundraising activity on
the Volunteer database.

write ups and reports on volunteer engagement, event participation, and
income generation to inform strategy and planning as well as support
communication tools.

Working
with the Volunteering team to develop and consider potential new fundraising
and volunteering opportunities to support income growth. As well as
recruitment engagement opportunities.

closely with the Supporter Experience team as well as Volunteering Team to
ensure volunteers and community fundraisers receive a seamless and positive
experience.
