Job summary
The Clinical Administrator is a key member of the Admiral Nurse Dementia Team, assisting the Admiral Nurse in planning and coordinating, and be responsible for measuring the impact this valuable service has within our community. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled administrator with experience or an interest in working in healthcare.
Main duties of the job
As the Clinical Administrator, you will work within the dementia service as part of the Compassionate Community Team. You will be based at St. Marys Hospice in Ulverston but may be required to attend the Compassionate Community Hub in Barrow-in-Furness occasionally. You will undertake a range of administrative duties which underpin the activity of the Admiral Nurse service including casework, data management and managing appointments. You will correspond with service users and their families, and understand the need for sensitive communication. You will work collaboratively with the Admiral Nurse, clinical services and community partners to ensure care is delivered seamlessly. You will recognise the requirement for high quality care and identify areas which require improvement within your role.
