SWFTCS are looking to recruit a Relief Pharmacist to deliver the core duties of our pharmacists whilst adapting to different work environments and teams, working across all our Outpatient Pharmacy sites.
Main duties of the job
The Relief Pharmacist will deliver the core duties of our pharmacists whilst adapting to different work environments and teams, working across all our Outpatient Pharmacy sites. The relief pharmacist will be required to work across all these sites as operational demand requires. Providing a safe, effective and caring pharmaceutical service that meets the needs of patients attending the outpatient pharmacies. Working closely with and alongside the Deputy Superintendent Pharmacist and Superintendent pharmacist, the pharmacist will be responsible for delivering an effective service, including screening and clinically checking prescriptions. They will also be responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with patients and other stakeholders, and through this achieve excellent healthcare and business performance.
SWFTCS outpatient pharmacy sites include Warwick Hospital, Stratford Hospital, George Elliot Hospital, University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, St Cross Rugby. The company continues to expand and there may be need to work at future sites in the future within a reasonable travelling distance.

SWFT Clinical Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of the South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT). The company provides a number of services such as outpatient pharmacy facilities at Warwick, Stratford upon Avon, George Eliot, University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire and St Cross (Rugby) hospitals; estates and facilities management at Warwick, Stratford upon Avon and Ellen Badger hospitals, Acorn House and Lillington Health Hub; private patient service and consultancy services to NHS Trusts.
Subject to the Company and individual's performance, an annual discretionary bonus will be awarded.
There is automatic enrolment to the Company pension scheme, with the Company contributing 5%.
