Job summary

Medicine Management Assistant We are looking for a Medicine Management Assistant who will be a key member of the medicines management team and support the medicines management department. You will support the pharmacy purchasing and distribution service, carrying our pharmacy duties & audits, and provide efficient administration services with the Pharmacy department. Salary: £20226.27 per annum Location: Wavertree head office Contract: Permanent 30 hour per week Shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 9-5pm What will you be doing Overall manage the medicine supply for the service. Ensure trollies are fully stocked, transport medication between various locations and prescriptions for the urgent care centres. Carry out stock checks with attention to detail on how medications are stored, condition and in date. Ensure adequate supplies are maintained, stored, ordered and received correctly. Follow set policies and procedures and identify and report any discrepancies. General administrative duties including photocopying, emailing, manual and electronic filing and the disposal of confidential information. Ensure prescriptions are supplied, collected and stored correctly. Assist with training team members.

Main duties of the job

What do I need NVQ level 2 certificate in pharmacy services GCSE grade C or above in English, Maths and Science Good IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Word & Excel. And ability to use systems.
