Job summary
Keech Hospice are looking for a qualified childrens nurse to join our inpatient unit and deliver a high standard of nursing care to the children and their families. You will be working alongside experienced nurses and support workers to make a real difference and help make the most of families cherished time. This role is for two shifts per week, including long days, nights and weekends.
Main duties of the job
Join an incredible team and work hand in hand with colleagues, ensuring our patients and families receive the holistic and medical care they deserve Become a valued member of the inpatient team and wider children's service, creating memorable connections with children, young people, families and colleagues forming the foundation of our work Be a compassionate advocate for children and families, promoting empowerment and guiding them towards choices and opportunities to improve their quality of life Provide high quality palliative and end of life care following symptom management plans To plan, deliver and evaluate care plans taking in to account the child and familys needs in a range of settings

Keech Hospice provides free specialist palliative and end of life care for people of all ages. We support adults in Bedfordshire. Children and their families in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Milton Keynes. At home, in hospice, or wherever were needed. As a teaching hospice, our exceptional people, training, and facilities are helping local communities to live and die well.
