Main duties of the job

Job Purpose: Responsible for creating, developing and implementing strategies to acquire, retain, and engage high-level partnerships with local and national businesses to maximise income to meet ambitious and growing targets. Lead the development and execution of innovative research and stewardship strategies to engage and enhance donor experience with a variety of key stakeholders. Drive the growth of corporate income through the maximisation of relationships and business programmes such as payroll giving and charity of the year opportunities. Direct responsibility for the budgeting, research, decision making and submission of charity of the year applications and partnerships agreements, with a clear focus on multi-year funding opportunities to grow to a million pound plus income. Work closely with the fundraising and Marketing & Comms Teams to deliver income and engagement growth. Optimise success rates and build, improve and use cases for support. Gather and collate information from internal and external stakeholders to transfer into compelling storytelling to win bids and build relationships, using data insights and evaluation to drive fundraising strategies and improve income success. Use strong portfolio management skills to lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals while managing a programme of corporate activity and reporting to ensure compliance and maximising ambitious growth. Work collaboratively across teams to drive a test and learn approach, ensuring our supporter data is optimised and all systems are capitalised to meet the charitys needs. Specific Duties: Leadership, Strategy Development and Implementation: To support and report upon the fundraising strategic plan and operational plans for the partnership giving team, achieving agreed budgets. To provide strong leadership, direction and performance management within the corporate team, building a values-led environment. Creating clear objectives, KPIs and personal development plans. Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate giving strategy, operational plan and associated budget with a focus on income growth and maximisation of fundraising potential. Plan and manage a corporate partnerships pipeline to diversify income streams and maximise revenue. Regularly research opportunities to achieve metrics and improve long-term ROI in corporate giving. Engagement and Stewardship Identify, cultivate, maintain and enhance relationships with existing donors through timely acknowledgments, recognition, and engagement in organisational events, collaborating with other teams as appropriate. Create and deliver upon strategic plans for increased income from your target audience Accountable that all corporate presentations, asks and reporting adheres to funder requirements and the needs of our business. Represent the organisation at relevant events to engage across our referral area to promote awareness and partnership opportunities. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse fundraising data to track performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making. Prepare regular reports on performance, agreed KPIs, and financial outcomes. Prepare detailed financial revenue analysis and progress reports for analysis, management, key stakeholders and other fundraising teams. Collaboration and coordination: Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure cohesive implementation of the annual giving plan from research to evaluation. Collaborate with other departments to align fundraising efforts with organisational goals. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends in corporate fundraising. Test and implement new fundraising methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Work with the fundraising team, leading on corporate relationships to develop new ideas and best practices to improve donor retention and increase annual income. Build and grow corporate fundraising programmes, including but not exclusively payroll giving, including promotion and oversight of the initiative, and Charity of the Year applications, leading on the process and developing compelling proposals to achieve success. Compliance, Administrative and Project Management: Ensure all corporate fundraising activities comply with UK fundraising regulations and best practices. Build, monitor and control the growth of million pound budget plans, reforecasting when necessary, ensuring all resources are used effectively. Manage operations of the corporate giving programme, ensuring all activities are completed accurately, on time and within budget. Maintain accurate records of donor communications and support with improvement and updating of donor management systems regularly.
