Job summary

North London Hospice is a registered charity, that has been caring for local people since 1984. The Community teams cover three London boroughs Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey.

We are looking for Band 5 Registered Nurses to join our friendly and growing inpatient unit team providing specialist palliative care to patients in our 18-bedded unit. We have full and part time roles available and will consider flexible working options.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for Band 5 Nurses with some experience of palliative care, who are team players, keen to learn and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

This is a rewarding opportunity for you to join our dedicated organisation as we work to provide the best of life, at the end of life, for those who need us most. You will have the chance to make a valuable, positive difference to the lives of those suffering life-limited illnesses and their loved ones.

You must have good communication skills and able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients.

Since 1984 North London Hospice has been the leading provider of end-of-life care in North London, providing specialist care to people at home, in the community and on our Inpatient Unit in Finchley. Providing vital income for our charity are our 17 retail stores across North London, that, alongside our active fundraising team, generate much of the funds needed to run our services.

Every person at North London Hospice plays a role in supporting people to live their lives as well as they can for as long as they can.
