As Consultant Psychologist, youll take the helm of a dynamic and expanding service, blending expert clinical practice with leadership.This is your opportunity to lead, shape, and influence how we provide world-class therapeutic services, from supporting the development of new DBT services to providing evidence-based therapies like CBT, EMDR, DBT, and Schema Therapy.
Main duties of the job
You'll work alongside a talented, multidisciplinary team and have the chance to develop and mentor highly skilled professionals within the service. Based in Northampton, youll also enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working, allowing you to provide in-person and remote support putting you at the heart of service innovation and growth.
About the Role:
This is a rare opportunity to take on a leadership role in a growing service. You will:
- Lead with Impact: Oversee the clinical governance of the clinic, ensuring the highest quality patient care and helping steer the development of new services.
- Make a Difference: Deliver evidence-based psychological assessments and tailored interventions, supporting individuals on their recovery journey with the latest therapeutic models.
- Develop and Inspire: Lead a team of psychologists and clinicians, providing mentoring and professional development opportunities to enhance their practice.
- Drive Innovation: Play a key role in developing services and expanding the clinic, including contributing to the launch of a new DBT community service in 2025.
- Manage Complex Cases: Lead risk assessments and work with challenging cases, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients through compassionate, informed care.
