Job summary

Ready for a new challenge implementing physical health excellence across our services?

Are you a Nurse, Paramedic or AHP looking for a new challenge? Have you ever considered applying your knowledge and experience in a different health care setting? If the answer is yes then an exciting new challenge awaits you at St Andrews Healthcare.

Main duties of the job

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner who enjoys working at the top of their clinical competency and recognises the value of education, support and development within the work place. Primary or community care experience would be beneficial but is not essential to the role.

Whilst mental health experience would be preferable, we would welcome applications from registered healthcare professionals currently not working within mental health services who have transferable skills to support our agenda.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for promoting parity of esteem between physical and mental health through the implementation of high quality healthcare across the charity. We plan to bridge health inequality for our patients by:

  • Preventing unnecessary admissions to local acute hospitals
  • Providing a safe resuscitation service
  • Reducing the risks caused by psychotropic medication
  • Increasing access to national health screening programmes
  • Improving our management of long term conditions

Theres no doubt that this can be a demanding post working in a fast paced environment, however, for the right individual, this will be a hugely rewarding role as part of a family orientated, friendly team.
