Location: Rainbows Hospice, Lark Rise, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE11 2HS Hours: This role is part time 22.5 hours per week, over 3 days with need for flexibility in line with our service needs. There may be times when you will need to work twilight nights or early mornings in line with clinical staffs rotas. To assist in the safe, effective and efficient management of education within allocated resources To promote a progressive attitude to research and practice development in the continual improvement of care for the babies, children and young people Further responsibilities can be found by downloading the Job Description. • Registered Nurse or Physiotherapist
• Experience of complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills
• Clinical education skills
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to motivate and develop a team of staff
• Demonstrates motivation and commitment to providing high quality family centred care and education
• Experience of supporting students within practice
• Experience of delivering relevant education and training competencies
• Physically capable for performing the role and responsibilities expected of the post holder, i.e. manual handling of services users
• Effective organisational skills.

Desirable

• Post Graduate Certificate in Education
• BSc (hons) Degree in related subject
• NMC/HCPC practice assessor award
• Experience of managing change & problem solving.
• Palliative care experience.
• Interest in developing relevant education agendas and resources.
• Working with children with complex needs /assessing complex symptoms.
• Managerial, organisational and leadership skills.
• Committed to the principal of access to excellent palliative care for all.
• Emotional resilience/ intelligence and conflict resolution skills
