Main duties of the job
Finding and welcoming the right people is essential to sustaining the care and support we provide. That is why we are currently seeking a proactive and organised Recruitment Administrator to join our internal recruitment team. In this key role, you will work closely with the Recruitment Officer to support all aspects of the recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. Your contribution will be vital in attracting and onboarding the best talent to join our compassionate and dedicated organisation.

Here at Rainbows Childrens Hospice, we provide specialist palliative care and end-of-life support to over 750 Babies, Children, and Young People living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as approximately 3,000 people, including families, siblings, and carers, across the East Midlands. Simply put, were here to brighten short lives and support families, wherever they are.

Location: Onsite at Rainbows Hospice in Loughborough
Hours of work: Part-time of 30 hours per week between Monday and Friday
About the role
To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Recruitment Officer and the wider People team, ensuring the smooth delivery of recruitment processes and candidate experiences.
Some of the key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Be a point of contact for recruitment-related enquiries
Write eye-catching job adverts
Post engaging job adverts on our system and top job boards
Pre-screen applicants to find top talent
Coordinate interview logistics
Support to completion of background checks and onboarding compliance
Keep systems updated with new starter info
Help run smooth, welcoming induction sessions

Requirements
Proven administration experience, working with multiple departments and levels.
Providing excellent customer service to a range of stakeholders.
Experience of drafting correspondence to a high level of quality and accuracy.
Experience of using a database/ Information system to record and retrieve data.
Manage meeting schedules, room bookings, and event logistics.
