Community Dental Services CIC are looking for a senior clinician who identifies with our values as a Social Enterprise and is passionate about providing care for those most at need.

Main duties of the job

This senior clinician will provide assessment and oral care for clients of Bedfordshire Special Care Dental Services, to both adults and children who have additional needs.

The post is primarily based at our multi-surgery clinic in Bedford but will also support clinics across Bedfordshire as required, including on our Mobile Dental Unit, domiciliary care and epidemiological surveys.In conjunction with the wider team of clinicians, the post holder will be part of a team responsible for the management of paediatric and adult referrals. Where appropriate this will involve intravenous sedation, inhalation sedation and treatment under general anaesthesia. General anaesthetic sessions are undertaken at Bedford Hospital and Luton and Dunstable Hospital.

A full driver's licence and access to a car are essential. The ideal candidate will be a skilled clinician with excellent organisational skills, patience, and a flexible, positive approach.
